However, this is a bad decision for most people who tend to spend and forget their credit card bills. Experts say that the only time it makes sense is when you have exhaused all other financing options and simply need to pay. Consumers should first consider utilizing the IRS's payment plans, however, which can offer much better terms (especially these days!).
